Cameron Larson

President/Founder

Cameron Larson has been the principal of AstoundCom for six years, in addition to having over 11 years of experience in the telecom industry and over 20 years of sales experience. Specializing in the sales of broadband and colocation wholesale products, his clients include Novartis, Hughes Telematics, and Kratos Defense and Security. AstoundCom’s sales average 100 percent annual growth each year, and they where awarded “growth partner of the year” in 2008 by Level (3) Communications, which is a leading U.S. and international provider of fiber-based communications services. Larson’s leadership skills include a gift for identifying customer issues, solving those issues with an exceptional customer service track record, and the ability to manage complex solutions. AstoundCom has offices in San Diego, California and Portland, Oregon. Larson spends his free time mountain biking, surfing, snowboarding, hiking and practicing yoga.

Sam Balooch

Vice President of Technology

Sam Balooch, Vice President of Technology, manages the day-to-day information technology responsibilities of AstoundCom and the development of their products and solutions. Mr. Balooch brings nearly 15 years of IT Operations and executive management experience across start-ups and public companies including Sun Microsystems, Silicon Graphics, Intuit, Kintera, Mind Institue of Technology, and Xceedium. His leadership and passion for technology has led to industry leading data center operations for Internet based corporations while maintaining SOX and PCI compliance. He has also led several successful organizations in identifying and pursuing new opportunities in product and technology development.

Dante Fichera

Vice President of Finance

Dante Fichera has more than 15 years of financial service industry experience. He primarily has experience with technology, retail and institutional, Dante is a seasoned veteran with a strong passion for the technology industry and a proven track record of assisting companies grow and maximize shareholder value. 

During his professional career, he has acted in financial and operating leadership roles within and array of companies. In addition, he has a proven track record of identifying and facilitating financial transactions, reducing costs, and developing and implementing financial and growth strategies. 

He has worked for such firms as: Coopers & Lybrand, Ernst & Young, Linsco/Private Ledger (LPL) as well as many early stage enterprises. Dante is a CPA, and also holds Series 27, 7, and 66 licenses. In 2002 he wrote and published the Insiders Guide to Venture Capital through Random House.
